2nd Annual Gulf LMSC 1-Hour Swim at Dads Club

If you have ever wondered how far you can swim in 1-Hour, here is the opportunity to do it with official counting and at a great facility.

As part 2023 USMS 1-Hour Virtual Championship the Gulf LMSC is holding a 1-Hour Swim at Dad’s Club on 1/28/2023 (open to USMS and/or Dad’s Club members).

USMS members must be current (2023 membership) and register at prior to the event. The fee is $12.-. https://www.clubassistant.com/club/meet_information.cfm?c=1308&smid=15493

As a Dad’s Club ONLY member you may swim in the event, but your result WILL NOT count for USMS National rankings (so seriously just sign up, don’t be shy).

Event Details
Date: January 28, 2023
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: 1006 Voss Road, Houston, Texas 77055

Schedule:
10:00   Sign-in starts
10:15    Warm-up for 1st shift
10:30 – 11:30    1st shift 1-Hour Swim
11:30     Warm-up for 2nd shift
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. 2nd Shift 1-Hour Swim
1:00 p.m.  Maybe Pizza (who knows?!)

Eligibility
  • You must be a 2023 USMS Member who has registered for the event and/or Dad’s Club Members
Counters/Timers
  • You are required to bring you own counter/timer or volunteer as counter for the shift you are not swimming in. Split Timing Sheets and stop watches will be provided.
Donations
  • A Donation to Dad’s Club is appreciated but not required.
